Full-time, permanent position in Shediac, NB. Keep an active fleet of excavators, dozers, loaders and heavy trucks running. Red Seal not required.
Full-time, permanent. Shediac, NB. Competitive pay based on experience, overtime available.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable heavy duty mechanic or fleet technician to join our team. You will work on an active fleet of excavators, dozers, loaders, heavy trucks and other equipment.
What you will do
- Preventative maintenance and servicing
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines
- Hydraulic, electrical and mechanical repairs
- Repair hoses, tracks, brakes and more
- Shop work and occasional field repairs
- Keep maintenance and repair records
What we are looking for
- Hands-on heavy equipment experience
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Able to work independently
- Reliable and safety-minded
- Valid driver’s licence; Class 1 or 3 is an asset
Red Seal not required. We value experience, mechanical ability and work ethic over formal certification.
